In 1990, he set up his first recording studio (La Galera Multimedia) and in 2001 began working as a composer and audio post-producer for film.
Since then, his work includes more than ten multi-award-winning films, six Prime Video productions, and thousands of hours of recording, editing, sound design, and mixing for all types of audiovisual projects.
Because Walder Martinez lives and breathes storytelling through sound, filmmakers across continents have entrusted him with their most delicate layers — from silence to crescendo. With over 35 years in the industry as an audio post-producer and more than 30 films under his belt, he brings a rare fusion of creativity, precision, and technical mastery to every frame.
Founder of La Galera Multimedia, his Dolby Atmos-ready studio blends analog soul with digital finesse. His work spans Prime Video, Netflix, and multi-award-winning international productions, sculpting immersive audio worlds where emotion finds its echo.
He also composed music for advertising. Unilever, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft are just some well-known brands trusted his talent for their projects.
1982
When I was just seven years old, I wrote my first song and performed in public for the first time. This marked the beginning of a path I will
follow until the end of my days.
1990
In March of that year, I set up my first recording studio at the age of 15with the invaluable help of my parents. I began my journey into the
wonderful world of music recording and production with a Tascam 424 portastudio, an AudioTechnica dynamic microphone, a Casio synthesizer, and an electroacoustic guitar.
2001
Many things happened in 2001. My recording studio, La Galera, became La Galera Multimedia that year, and I began producing not only music but also videos. I recorded my first album under the stage name of "Lisandro Lujan". I began working as an audio post-producer and composing music for film that same year.
2023
One of the key milestones in my career: I closed my studio in Argentina, sold all my equipment, and settled with my wife in northern Málaga, Spain.
It was a great decision and a decisive step that opened the doors to new work and learning opportunities.
